T&G Santa Helpers Needed
Each year for more than 70 years now the T&G Santa has helped children have a Christmas gift under the tree, who may not have had one otherwise. On the two days after Thanksgiving (11/28 and 11/29) we kick off the fund drive by sending T&G Santa Helpers out to various store front locations to sell newspapers of which all proceeds go to the T&G Santa Fund.
Would you like to help? Call 508-793-9246 Perhaps you or a family member would like to earn a little extra spending cash for this holiday season? Here's a great way to do that, while also experiencing firsthand the generosity of the community.
We will pay $25 per day to a T&G Santa Helper that sells newspapers and collects donations at a location from about 8:00am – 12:00 noon. If a youth wants to work at one location with a friend we will pay each Helper $15 per day. It’s also a great opportunity for students to log community service hours needed for various programs at school.
Here's how it works:
T&G Santa Helpers arrive at the Millbury Production Facility on Route 20 in Millbury about 8:00am to pick up newspapers and T&G Santa aprons.
Then the T&G Santa Helpers go to their predetermined store front location and sell newspapers to customers of which all proceeds go to the fund.
Then after about 4 hours on location, take the unsold newspapers and the donations back to the Millbury Production Facility on Route 20 in Millbury where you will be greeted by someone who will receive the donations and pay the T&G Santa Helper for the day.
It's as simple as that!
